FJAAK certainly were never ones to shy away from the dancefloor, but the pandemic has clearly lit some sort of fire underneath the Berlin-based duo. Their latest EP Your Time is Ov3r is filled to the brim with chaotic rhythms and ragged energy, resulting in some of their sharpest productions to date. File the frenzied drum breaks that swirl around ‘Falcon Punch’ and the menacingly crunchy bassline of opening track ‘Identity’ under ‘90s revivalism, or perhaps more accurately, rave revitalism.
