Hark, who goes there? Matt Hill, aka Umberto, awakens the demon of 'Temple Room' from his Prophecy Of The Black Widow album on Not Not Fun. A lengthy intro of sinister giallo strings gives way to Goblin-esque bells and a darkly sensual groove, extending the reanimated corpse of this beat to a monstrous fourteen minutes. On the flip Umberto slips into his Silvio guise, jacking up the tempo, and teasing out its possibilities for macabre disco before burying it in a swathe of shadowy reverb.
