Californian noisemaker Brian Pyle has returned to record this second album for Not Not Fun. ‘Fever Logic’ has the feel of a downbeat film score, with ‘End Scene’ combining rain and white noise over shimmering, emotional keyboards, and opener ‘We Come Spinning Out Of Control’ layering echoing drums, ambient pads and gauze-like distorted guitar together, as if Mogwai are commanding a funeral procession.
