Documenting the before and after development of a solo electric guitar piece comes ‘Four Years Older’ by New Yorker Alan Licht -  his debut release for Editons Mego. As the titles would befit, side A was recorded four years later than the B side, a blistering electronic storm that would not feel out of place on one of Russell Haswell’s legendary sets. Meanwhile, side B arrives in equally relentless form, letting in light with an ecstatic mid section.
