Global Goon makes his debut on the mighty Central Processing Unit label with a new mini-LP entitled Nanoclusters. With a long, storied history of releases on the likes of Rephlex, WeMe and Planet Mu under a variety of alter egos, Hawk has been at the forefront of UK dance for multiple decades. That said, Hawk takes Global Goon on a more lovingly nostalgic run here on Nanoclusters, favouring a (mostly) mid-tempo churn while embellishing these sturdy tunes with melodies and keys that nod to his formative electronic influences on tracks like ‘Calcula’ and ‘Digital Six’.
