Russian producer Larionov makes his debut on the Central Processing Unit label with a new EP entitled Space Threat. Building off the hard-charging, yet experimentally minded rave of his prior work on labels like Rotterdam Electronix, Space Threat finds Larionov exploring the boundaries of electro with a combo of classic tools and contemporary sound design. Tracks like the positively relentless ‘Asteroid Attack’ hits all those well worn acid notes with aplomb, while the wicked ‘Flying High’ and its propeller like audio channel surfing synths offer a new kind of thrill.
