Dublin based Splitradix returns to Central Processing Unit for another EP of blissful Drexciyan electro. Retro vibes slink around Synthesizing Your Future, with its array of warm analogue synths, 808 cowbells, and robotic voices, yet Splitradix makes sure not to keep things too nostalgic as he conjures a futuristic vision of Irish electro. ‘West Coast Way’ is a highlight with its winding passages of rebounding mechanical synths set to poppier beats and smooth pads, the latter forming the beginning of Shawn Rudiman’s remix before it explodes with booming rhythms.
