Blackest Ever Black kick their 2013 release schedule off in fine form with the heavily anticipated new album from Dominic Fernow’s Prurient. According to the label themselves, the record acts as a conclusion to 2011’s ‘Many Jewels Surround the Crown’ 7” and succeeding records from that same year. A documentative response to his time in his new home - LA - plotting a course through the city’s ‘hall of mirrors, sycophants, fair-weather friends and social vampires’. Widescreen, expansive and nodding to his affection for the more European forms of techno, this is music to listen to when the lights are firmly off.
