When iconoclastic industrial pioneers Throbbing Gristle reformed in 2004, they revived their appetite for transforming sound beyond all imaginable limits. As such, they released their first ever collection of remixes, with a veritable who’s who of club producers translating their industrial palettes to the dancefloor. Motor dip the vocals of ‘Persuasion’ in acid, met with razor sharp electronics and amplified feedback. Carl Craig takes ‘Hot On The Heels Of Love’ in steamier directions with propulsive electro beats and prickly staccato synths, while Two Lone Swordsmen speed ‘United’ up to feverish pace with roboticised vocals and frantic synth stabs.
