Fourth album from once post-rock troupe turned sprightly pop act, continuing this familiar theme first heard on 2010's 'Magic Chairs'. Toned by an ever-so-slightly darker theme, 'Piramida' captures the bleakness and emptiness of the abandoned Russian settlement where the album was made. Employing dramatic strings and small, percussive flourishes into dark, lapping folds of introspection.
