Sublime dream-pop from Zelienople, finding themselves a new home in Type Records. Set across seven tracks, ‘The World Is A House on Fire’ redefines notions of soul-drenched Americana, wraithlike shoegaze and loosely padded dream-pop scapes. References to the legacy of Talk Talk are omnipresent, not least in the fragile vocals of Matt Christensen and the shadowy ambience of minimal guitar, synth and organ snapshots.
