Mutated rhythmical batterings from Basic Rhythm mixing up grime and jungle influences into a raw trax style techno 12".
The opening title track recalls the dark atmospheres of early DMZ records whilst breathing fresh life into the sound with a distinctly current influence. Think Powell meets Cutty Ranks. Produced by Anthony J Hart (Imaginary Forces), each track is clearly built with a thorough and loving tribute to the lineage of UK dance music in mind. Closer ‘The Curse’ has the roughneck sound of early Terror Rhythm or Earwax, using the sound to cause devastating FX's when intersected with its skeletal breakdowns and ragga vox.
