Two tracks from Tobias Freunds' much-lauded 2011 album, ‘Leaning Over Backwards’, get the remix treatment from no less than Efdemin and Ricardo Villalobos & Max Loderbauer. Efdemin takes his reworking in the shadowy recesses of Berghain, creating a dark and at moments distressing piece of paranoia. Meanwhile, Villalobos & Loderbauer strips Freunds’ original track back into a laid-bare piece of techno.
