Tobias’ new 1972 EP for Ostgut Ton is a set of evocative techno tools typical to both artist and label. The title-track and ‘Electric Storm’ both hover in that dubbed-out warehouse-techno zone that we find practised by fellow O-Ton heavyweights like Norman Nodge. Sandwiched between these we have the more melodious ‘Schism’ and ‘The Wisdom Of No Escape’, two DJ tools which steer closer to other recent Ostgut releases by Efdemin and Barker.
