Longtime collaborators Nick Cave and Warren Ellis join forces to pay homage to the beauty of nature on their soundtrack for La Panthère Des Neiges. Directed by Marie Amiguet and Vincent Munier, the film follows Munier and writer Sylvain Tesson on a wildlife photography mission to find snow leopards in the Tibetan highlands. While a moment of tension appears on the sauntering ‘Les Yaks’, the soundtrack is steeped far more in celebration of nature and its creatures, with mountaintops reflected in glacial pianos and sweeping strings capturing the snow leopard’s elegance.
