Over/Shadow, the new label from 2 Bad Mice continues to push jungle forward with new material from some of the formative producers. Starting early, DJ Trax obsession with percussion began at just age 7, developing through a love of Hip Hop to become a DJ in the mid-80s. Known for his work with labels such as Stronghanded and Offset after working with the legendary Moving Shadow for many years. Across three tracks, it plays out like a contemporary updating of the magical sound of those early formative years of jungle and drum & bass, with modern production suites granting the tracks extra polish and impact. A-side ‘Lost In You’ features all of the hallmarks - crisp breaks, dreamy atmospheric pads underpinned by ominous looming subs.

With modern producers and DJs from Sherelle, India Jordan, Tim Reaper, Special Request etc and labels like Sneaker Social Club, Refreshers, Hooversound Recordings and many more continuing to breathe life into the scene - Over/Shadow's third release marks a very welcome return from one of the originators.
