A year on from his last EP for the label, DJ Trax returns to Over/Shadow with another set of killer drum and bass. Mirroring some of his earliest material on the Moving Shadow label such as his 1993 Time Will Tell EP, ‘Hands Of Time’ opens with frenetically rolling, vibrant drums. Arpeggios trickle like light between the breaks, taking the track into soaring heights that the rest of this high energy EP remains in. Washes of glittering harpsichord-like synths and angelic chords briefly descend before boisterous breakbeat clashes turn the sky dark and stormy.
