Having departed from electronic music in 2000 only to return in 2012, Bisk continues to make quietly innovative tunes, and Vacation Package makes it abundantly clear where his head is at. There’s an ultra-cool slickness across these tracks that belies their complex and frantic nature. The synth chimes of ‘Like Peaches’ are beautifully smooth, but its rhythmic foundation and choppy vocal samples suggest the kind of frenetic movement of footwork.
