Glacially moving through subterranean ambience, Triz is the second solo album from the enigmatic Pontiac Streator. "I'm stuck in a cave, what's happening?" are the only words given to guide us through the sweeping textures of liquid electronics, and they describe the listening experience well, as Streator points to a locationless fourth world philosophy with blends of bells, drips, and shuffling earth. Frenetic atom smashes and flashes of digital noise appear behind glassy tones, the album’s occasional burst of rhythm breaks up the lakeside stillness on ‘Transier Unt’ with chirping crushes of technologically manipulated beats rising and falling.
