The fifth volume of Letherette’s Brown Lounge series is another set of buoyant beats from the Wolverhampton duo. Anyone who’s heard one of the other Brown Lounge beat-tapes will know what’s in store here, but once more for the cheap seats - across these twenty tracks we find Letherette shelving their signature house sound and serving up a selection of leftfield hip-hop instrumentals that hark to Madlib, J Dilla, Karriem Riggins and other MPC legends.
