As a result, the number of registered drug offences in Georgia tripled. For producers Michailo and Irakli, the former of whom was one of the incarcerated, Release is not merely an EP of sublime and spacey techno; it is intended as an open letter to Georgia’s government, imploring to reassess these unjust laws in the name of those whose lives — men, women, children, entire families — have been forever tarnished.
