With new EP Branches On Ice, Upsammy heads back to the club. After releasing a brilliant-but-not-particularly-danceable debut LP Wild Chamber earlier in 2019, those who have followed the Amsterdam producer from the start will be pleased to hear of her bringing the beats once more. That’s not to say that these four pieces of helter-skelter techno represent a complete about-face for Upsammy - cuts like ‘Bronze Goddess’ and ‘Shaky Limbs’ are full of the same frosty synths and croaking electronics that were the backbone of Wild Chamber.
