You may have heard - to be honest, it would have been hard to have missed - that LCD Soundsystem released a comeback LP entitled American Dream in 2017. ‘Oh Baby’ was one of the highlights of that record and has now firmly cemented itself as an LCD fan favourite. On this new DFA EP the tune is re-jigged two ways by Lovefingers. The remix is a strutting 100-bpm cosmic house number that is opened up part-way through by the introduction of James Murphy’s ethereal vocals. If you’re wanting something more instrumental then the dub forgoes Murphy’s singing for extra spacey club vibes.
