Aisha Devi has been using her Danse Noire label to shine a light on an all manner of strange electronics from the likes of IVVVO, Random Gods and Abyss X since starting up back in 2013. Clearly as adept at A&R as she is at producing, this new album from Reelle seems to blur the lines between contemporary classical and nausea inducing dark ambient and shows a strong body of work from this little known artist. ‘Head Held High’ and ‘Unfold’ sound like little else, more abstract sound art pieces than fully formed compositions. Interesting one for sure!
