Danse Noire (J. G. Biberkopf, Aisha Devi) drop another set of forward-thinking post-club fare in the form of Reelle’s EP Kissing Myself. The Cuban-German artist uses the deconstructed club sound as a space in which to explore issues of identity, queerness, erotic practice and more. Their music is often intense and visceral, invoking the likes of Arca and Fatima Al Qadiri. ‘Pink’ and the title track are disorientating and noisy, sharing as much in common with an experimental noise night as a vogueing party. ‘God’ also comes off as a defiant, queered flip of Kanye West’s ‘I Am A God’. Kissing Myself comes with an additional remix by fellow Berlin experimentalist Dis Fig.
