The Dublin-based producer follows up releases on Permanent Vacation, Hivern Discs and All City with his first full-length record. Recorded largely on the legendary SP 1200 sampler that has been made a household name by everyone from DJ Premier to Moodymann, the album glistens with a classy sheen lent to it by the machinery it was built on. Cuts like ‘Anya’s Piano’ and the eponymous opener are gorgeous, slow-burning house tracks, deep despite their quick tempo due to the crispness of the beat work and richness of their samples. The one born David Kitt also laces some cuts with vocals - just check the sweet, soulful jam ‘Put the Love In It’.
