Andy Mac's second volume of dubwise Diving Bird's rolls around with three tracks brilliantly mirroring classic Smith & Mighty styles yet updating them with a vast knowledge and many a Saturday afternoon spent stood at the counter of Idle hands.

Starting out in the darkness of Secret Shade, Andy turns in a slow burning sub-bass number, the rhythms seemingly suspended in a thick cloud of dope smoke while the Chain Reaction style dub-tech drums map out similar territories to Mac's Deep Street 12". True to form, the Version strips back any sense of melody in favor of an industrial backwash of chirping crickets and clipper lighter clicks. Closing things out, Stormy takes a sun-drenched casio tone and some 8-bit crunching drums around a ghosted bassline with distant voices echoing through the sea shanty gloom.
