XL snap up one of the greatest leading lights in the weightless grime continuum with a four tracker of R'N'G(rime) from Dark0.

Last seen smashing it on Rinse, Dark0's discography is sparse yet reads like a CV most could only dream of; cuts on Visionists Lost Codes, Gobstopper and an inclusion on the first Weightless comp on Logos and fellow XL artist Mumdance’s Diff Circles label.

So basically, Dark0 is at the top of the game, and hats off to XL for drawing out this 12". Using the Oceana 12" as a way to explore avenues previously only hinted at, the styles and sounds developed here range from the big room EDM style trap of HudMo to raw bounce grime numbers that wouldn't seem out of place in Slimzee’s bag.

Dark0 appears to have his sights set for bigger things with the staunch pop of Forever, a road we imagine many will be following him down if he ventures further in that direction (if only to throw big pop star stacks at him for production work!).
