Bristol based artist Adam Higton prepares the second instalment of the Collages series under his Cosmic Neighbourhood moniker. Wacked out and polyrhythmic electronics scored for modular synth, flute and bells – think a slightly warmer and more psychedelic take on some of the Pye Corner Audio output. His knack for digging out strange, semi-familiar film samples and juxtaposing them with the wiggiest of sound collages is not to be underestimated. Think Radiophonic workshop meets 60’s british psych pop, but prepared decades in the future and beamed back to rejuvenate the minds of wasted hippies.
