!K7 present the fourth album from Berlin based electronic ensemble Brandt Brauer Frick, a group who take as much influence from Conrad Schnitzler or Nurse With Wound as they do traditional song focused indie rock groups. Imagine The Postal Service going in to the studio after spending 72 hours in the Berghain and you’ve got the picture. For Joy, they employ the compositional and vocal talents of Canadian poet Beaver Sheppard to weave lyrical narratives that pertain to ‘post-religious’ themes and feelings.
