Following a brief sojourn in the bowels of industrial noise on his latest Prurient LP, Dominick Fernow’s Vatican Shadow returns to the Bleep.com multiverse with this digital issue of pummeling techno and militant groove. Media In The Service Of arrives here in the binary, but will be followed by a cassette release as well as a limited special edition that comes with a 100-page mini newspaper. Expect shocking noise, frozen pads, jagged little hooks, and unrelenting kick drums. Lead single ‘‘More Of The Same’ is easily one of the best –and most accessible- things he has ever done, a glistening Ibiza-ready jam (no, really). Rejoice!
