Mind blowing crystal gear from Winter Sleep originally released in 2012 but here given a reissue by the good folk at Dream Catalogue. Despite being written in 2012 its amazing how current this sounds, paying homage to 90's computer games this new age album from Winter Sleep goes a long way towards making us yearn for those days of dial-up internet and a time when broadband was not even a concept. The sounds blend the euphoric haze of the best DC's with a glittery coat of real-time Windows 98 3-D sound design that comes across like a blend of Suzanne Ciani and Oneohtrix Point Never, exceptional stuff as always from this label and well worth spending some proper time with.
