Lazer guided remix package of Tycho's Awake featuring new workings from Com Truise, RJD2, Bibio, Few Nolder and more. Across the board each rework shines through while the LP holds tight the narrative that it's a Tycho LP but seen through the kelidesopic viewpoint of the stearling line up of producers who have hopped on board to unfurl their own tales of Awake. Highlights for us have to be the textural synth shuffler from Com Truise, it rolls along at a jagged hip-hop temp with xtra fresh synth textures while Bibio's take on Spectre perfectly translates his summery folk vibe into the original's glassy electronic viewpoint. Montana gets a big room tech-house bounce from Few Nolder and Apogee gets the low-slung trip-hop tip from RJD2.
