Modernista present this instalment of their regular series coming courtesy of Russian multidisciplinary artist Yuri Shulgin. Yuri’s outing for Modernista is a manifestation of all corners and mutations of his sound. Freeform jazz syncopations, flashes of acid house, sweeping dub tropes and a finished product which belongs wholly to the artist. Following a number of high profile collaborative efforts and work under a few different aliases, this is an exciting release for Shulgin. A special highlight definitely comes in the form of the dub rework of Acid Vertigo on the end.
