Mancunian imprint Finders Keepers do what they do best with the archival reissue of one of the rarest vinyl horror soundtracks of all time from 1983 underground Belgian Z-movie obscurity The Antwerp Killer from Eric Feremans. Feremans famously began working on and constructing his own synthesizers from a very young age, eventually going on to build his own school teaching others how to do the very same. Anyway enough back-story, the material Feremans eventually gifted over to director Luc Veldeman is pure DIY horror show synthtopia, ranging from glittery, angelic notes to doom-laden drones to wild, anxiety-laced rhythms. Essentially, it’s all anyone could possibly want from an eccentric indie-horror OST – fans of John Carpenter, Alan R. Splet and all things weird dig in.
