Rocket Recordings strike gold again with this blustering debut LP from Gnoomes who hail from Perm (a Russian city which translates roughly as “faraway land”). This record is a no-frills introduction into their illuminated realm of blissful psychedelia. As lead single Roadhouse shows, the sheer cocktail of sounds that have gone into Ngan! are perfect for losing yourself and finding yourself all over again. Liquified guitar lines, sky-high pedal effects and lost, hazy vocals all thrown into the cauldron to create psych in its truest, most free form.
