Kompakt’s beloved annual compilation returns for its 15th instalment. Total 15 collects a mixture of new and previously-released material from both established and up-and-coming names from the label’s roster, including Superpitcher, Gui Boratto, Matias Aguayo, Audion, and Michael Mayer. From the familiar faces you have Wolfgang Voigt (adopting the Wasserman alter ego) contributing ‘Eisen Mein Herz’, a weird dance track pairing stripped-bare production with a disembodied vocal sample (chanting deconstructed text from Thomas Mann’s 1954 novel Confessions of Felix Krull, naturally). Elsewhere, new star DJ Tennis drops a twinkling, Caribou-esque remix of Vermont’s ‘Majestät ’.
