Classy Parisian outlet Antinote imparts another outing of dusty house delicacies, this time coming via Leonardo Martelli with his Menti Singole debut EP. Expanding on the thoroughly degraded analogue aesthetics of his Human Condition cassette, the Italian producer charters noticeably more melodic territory here with the windy electro strut of ‘Filippo’ followed by guided mind-expansion on slow-burning hardware masher ‘Francesco’. Flipping over, ‘Leonard’ sets frayed drums into a decaying electro mould, complete with heart rendering synth strings whereas ‘Marco’ lays down a deeper-than-deep house bump coated in a thick ambient smog. Keep an eye on this one.
