With their second release, London imprint Rysunku position themselves even clearer in the realm of interdisciplinary art. Still / Current was composed by Mukul for the eponymous dance performance of choreographer Russell Maliphant at renowned dance theatre Sadler's Wells in London. The two-part suite mimics the immersive dance experience, sounding the point of intersection between contemporary dance, ballet and martial arts. The fragmented elements of 'Orange Side' reify gravity, whereas 'Green Side' answers with light- and at times even weightlessness. The artwork by the famous Tomato design collective mirrors this passion for detail in the packaging.
