Since frontman Fin Greenall moved to Berlin, UK trio Fink have been exploring the infinite possibilities of electronica in all its varying forms. This new long player for Ninja Tune subsidiary R’COUP'D is a continuation and manifestation of that explorative process. Featuring a mixture of dub reworks of material from 2014's Hard Believer as well as a handful of new cuts and a remix of Suuns' Music Won't Save You, Fink have fully embraced a cold aesthetic and an electronic standpoint which leans more towards the sparse industrial sounds which Greenall will have encountered in the German capital. Horizontalism is an exciting new chapter in this ever-transforming project.
