Kit Grill makes a much welcomed return following his recent LP for Get Me!, 'Europe' is a five tracks recorded between January and Feb of this year. Shaking off the icicles of winter, Kit debuts a rather stripped back affair of warm colorful electronics that develop his sound whilst shedding light on some of his more abstract influences. Opener 'Overnight' starts things off with a bang with a rolling disco indebted synth jam with startled drums rattling throughout. Next up is EP highlight 'Zeiss' an almost hip-hop number that brings to mind early Rephlexions from artists like The Railway Raver & Bochum Welt. Things take a slightly darker turn with the growling acid lines creeping up into 'Waterpark' but the vibe remains on a high while 'Traffic' goes casio techno before moving into the piano led closer 'Information' that caps off a fine release that shows a more experimental side to the producer without losing touch with the glassy electronic structures that he is known for building.
