Nature is the third release for Valet on Kranky, following on from 2007’s Blood Is Clean and 2008’s Naked Acid. Valet is the Portland, Oregon based, experimental rock musician Honey Owens, who has worked in projects including World, Nudge, Dark Yoga and Jackie-O Motherfucker with Valet being her solo project. This selection of psychedelic rock tracks see Owens return to Kranky with her woozy pop vocals and rock tracks with the charming track ‘Nature’ really showing off Owen’s soft vocal talent with a backdrop of slow drumming and steady melody.
