Pre-order Information

Stars Of The Lid co-founder Adam Wiltzie has seemingly been inspired by the bucolic for his new full length Eleven Fugues For Sodium Pentathol recorded in the Flemish countryside following a recent move from Brussels . Though speaking on the subject the prior muse for the recording was more sinister in nature, a recurring dream of Wiltzie where “if someone listened to the music I created, then they would die.” With the anaesthetic drug referenced in the title further alluding to states of oblivion the album delves into these inner yet infinite spaces with vistas of additional strings recorded at the old Hungarian National radio facility in Budapest and final mix from fellow sandman, Robert Hampson of drone rock legends Loop.
