While it might only be album number two, Crisposa’s handle on rich IDM soundscapes and stirring atmospheric strokes places him alongside the best in the field on A Lucid Dream Kit. The Madrid producer navigates around a realm of glassy sounds and crystallised chill wave motifs to create an eyes-wide-shut masterpiece. As the title of the LP suggests, this is a starter pack for making reverie a little more clear. From the steady ripples of Vamos Hacia Un Gran Sol through to the clipped stillness of Basketball In The Rain, this is a soundtrack to exploring once the lights are off.
