For their offering to the prestigious Late Night Tales series, Django Django looked backward initially and recalled the record collections of their parents. This throwback resulted in the inclusion of cuts like The Beach Boys’ Surf’s Up. Through the duration of their mix, the transition that occurred on their respective record collections is evident. More electronic numbers are immersed into the mix as well as a welcome drop of OutKast’s Slum Beautiful. The eclectic and borderless taste that is demonstrated on this mix is clearly the catalyst for the undefinable lane that Django occupy today.
