A rerelease of Whitehouse’s controversial Cruise, originally released back in 2001. Credited as the originators of power electronics, Whitehouse have continued to exert influence over both noise and techno long since their debut in 1980 and the band’s final statement, Racket, released in 2007. Cruise captures the protean rage, sonic extremity and coarseness that has come to define the band through its stomach-churning lyrics backed by visceral and ferocious frequencies.
