UK power electronic group Whitehouse reissue their 2003 album Bird Seed on their own Susan Lawly imprint. After long-time member Peter Sotos had left the band, William Bennett and Philip Best recorded this seventeenth full-length as a duo, which doesn’t mean that Whitehouse would present themselves any less extreme than usual. Exploring lyrical themes of responsibility for one’s action, it is seen as the group’s most mature outing to date. The harshness lies once again in the cuttingly sharp high frequencies, full-on noise bass drones and Bennett’s screaming vocals, making anyone and anything feel appropriately insulted with his mad-military-commander tone.
