LA-based Not Not Fun delight us with their next offering of conceptual underground pop. Delicate Features are Radmila Nikogosian and her partner Pavel Diakov-Astvatsaturian from Saint Petersburg, and on their debut they create mythical sonic landscapes with new age synths and delicate percussion. Radmila’s deliberately placed choral vocals have a textural quality that assimilates naturally with the organs and pounding rhythms. The duo opt for an ethereal aesthetic, balancing their sound between beat-based slow-growers like ‘Your Arms’ or ‘Kissed By The Sea’ and the formless ambience in ‘Whispering Wind’ or ‘Orphan Song’.
