Following hot on the heels of his debut LP Exits, Scottish producer Loops Haunt is back on Black Acre with a seven-piece collection of snarling, uncompromising industrial artillery. The IIVA EP begins with the extended, acidic offering of the title cut before moving through a primal assault on ‘TIIYL’ to loopy beats on ‘IIHX’ and more ambient flourishes on ‘IILTN’. Japanese experimentalist and PAN regular NHK offers his more straightforward, glitching take of ‘IIVA’ whilst final cuts ‘FIISR’ and ‘RYIIG’ showcase menacing tape hiss laced with mechanical beats.
