Dutch producer Julian Edwardes lands on Fremdtunes Records with a jazzy collection of electronic composition constructed from fragments of samples and bitty synth play. Opening track ‘Skelter’ pairs a breezy melody with soft brushes and waves of warped synth strings; ‘Sacre Blue’ is next, constantly morphing and mutating with layers of orchestral and computer noise working in tandem. Finally there’s lead track ‘Rapalje’, leading off with a funky key arrangement before delving into some crafty drum programming and flinching sonics.
